Measurement Worksheets & ProblemsBelow are a number of worksheets covering measurement geometry problems.

These math problems involve : Scales and Time, Perimeter, Area, Volume, Imperial & Metric Measurements etc. They are concerned with the estimating and measurment of time, scales and shapes.

Perimeter : the distance around the boundary of a shape.
Area : the measure of the size of the surface of a shape.
Volume : the measure of how much space an object occupies.

Some of these measurement worksheets use imperial units and some metric units. Some concern themselves with how to convert metric to imperial and vice versa.

The Imperial System uses yards, feet, inches, etc to measure length and fahrenheit for temperature. An old system, it is still used in the United States. The French developed the Metric System (meters) in 1670. It uses metres for length, grams for weight and celcius for temperature.

High school math students can use these measurement problems for study purposes. High School Teachers - you're welcome to copy these worksheets for classroom use. Parents - if you'd like to help your child learn math we suggest you start with our math tutorial section before returning to use these worksheets.

Year Levels

A note about year levels

Where appropriate each worksheet is given a year level that it is applicable to. As we're all in different countries the year level corresponds to the number of years at school. So, for example, a worksheet for Year 11 is for students in their 11th year of school.
Worksheets for earlier or later years may still be suitable for you.
